The Golden Apple Teacher Recognition Program
Teachers have the opportunity to share best practices with each other and the community through the time-honored Golden Apple program. Not only are great practices highlighted for teachers to learn from each other, but the recognition and celebration event honors the teaching profession and the significant respect our community has for teachers.

Sharing Best Practices
Sharing best practices is integral to the teaching profession. Through the Golden Apple Teacher Recognition Program, teachers with engaging and innovative classroom strategies are given the opportunity to share them with the community and with each other, knowing that this is part of the learning and refining process.
In 2017-18 Teachers of Distinction representing 55 of our Collier County Public Schools created short videos to highlight their best practice. [click below] to view all the videos and read a short summary of each teacher’s practice.
