Pathways to Success

Pathways to Success is one of Champions For Learning’s College and Career Prep Programs and is designed for students in grades 8 through 12 to help them navigate pathways for post-secondary success. Through consistent and structured out-of-school time programming elements, Pathways to Success will equip and prepare students for achieving their future academic and career goals.

The Pathways to Success Program includes two tiers.

• Foundations – students enter the program during the second semester of 8th grade
• Accelerate – students enter the program during the second semester of 10th grade

The program incorporates and emphasizes relevant skills and components that have been proven to be highly effective for students seeking either college or career readiness. Students will discover the various pathways that are available to them post-high school graduation. They will explore a variety of career and technical opportunities with local businesses and learn how to navigate the complex college admissions, scholarship, and financial aid processes. With opportunities for college and career coaching, mentorship, engaging workshops, hands-on lab sessions, off-site learning opportunities, and scholarship awards upon high school graduation, students will be empowered to make informed life decisions regarding their educational and vocational pursuits.
