Why is FAFSA Important?
- It gives you access to the largest source of financial aid to pay for college and technical school.
- In Florida, colleges will also use the FAFSA to determine your eligibility for state aid and school scholarships.
- The earlier you file, the better. You may not only be eligible for a larger piece of the financial aid pie, but many schools have FAFSA deadlines prior to Nov. 1!
