“Suncoast Credit Union Foundation believes that by investing in students and teachers, we are providing the support system to make a strong community,” says Cindy Helton, Executive Director of the Suncoast Credit Union Foundation.
Some of the many ways Suncoast Credit Union Foundation is providing this support to teachers, is by funding the Connect With A Classroom web portal and by also funding multiple classroom grants. Suncoast Credit Union Foundation is also the Presenting Sponsor of Golden Apple, which will be held on April 1, 2016 (click here for more information). There, Suncoast will generously provide each Golden Apple recipient with a $5,000 grant, which allows them to further develop and share their best practices with other teachers and the community as a whole.
Suncoast Credit Union has provided immense support for Champions For Learning’s student programs. For many years, they have significantly funded the Take Stock in Children program and scholarships. They have also provided students with the opportunity to become college and career ready by supporting the Real World Learning Model.
By partnering with Champions For Learning and providing support to both the educators and student programs, Suncoast Credit Union Foundation has made an incredible impact on the lives of students and teachers. As a result, this impact will continue to influence the community for years to come.
