Database Operations Manager
The Database Operations Manager supports the achievement of Champions For Learning’s mission, strategy, and annual goals and objectives, through the research, management, and implementation of the databases utilized by Champions for Learning. This includes processing gifts, records management, outcome reporting and accountability, interfacing existing programs, training, and supporting staff.
The Manager is responsible for maintenance and daily operation of the donor database, Raiser’s Edge NXT, as well as student programs use of Salesforce. The Manager will prepare standard reports, create complex queries for reports to meet management’s requests, create mailing and prospect lists, import and export data, processes gifts and generate donor acknowledgement letters and gift receipts. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of gift processing principles and practices, keeps up to date on IRS requirements for donations and reporting, a mastery of Raiser’s Edge NXT, and is responsible for adhering to best practice for donor record retention. The Manager must have excellent problem-solving skills and customer service skills as well as keen attention to detail.

Technical Pathways College & Career Coordinator
Champions For Learning is seeking a Part-Time Technical Pathways College & Career Coordinator to work with the programs team, engage with local colleges and business in support of students interest in pursuing careers in the technical fields. . This position will require expertise in technical programs/certifications. Responsibilities will include coordinating spring break and summer camps, a technical pathway pilot for high school students, and ensuring graduating seniors transition into post high school technical training and career placement. Position will include monitoring of outcomes and record management of students as it pertains to grant reporting and outcome accountability; assisting with program logistics; and expertly executing tracking/follow up as it relates to documentation or programming. Some programming is on evenings or weekends, requiring a flexible schedule.
Candidate is required to have a 4-year degree, with excellent organizational skills, strong relationship building skills, attention to detail, excellent communication and teamwork skills, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to learn multiple databases, communication and event software. Proficiency in written and spoken Spanish or Creole is preferred.

Director of Marketing and Communications
The Director of Marketing and Communications is responsible for creating innovative marketing strategies that will build brand identity, leading to increased awareness and fundraising revenue in support of Champions For Learning’s mission. The Director is responsible for creating and implementing the marketing and communication plan. This position will direct the design and execution of external communications, media relations, publications and collateral materials to enhance community awareness of Champions For Learning’s programs and accomplishments.
As a member of the Development Department team, the Director of Marketing and Communications should have the skills, knowledge and experience in fundraising strategies to successfully develop, implement and direct the organization’s communication and marketing strategies. The Director will frequently engage with the Board of Directors, leadership team and program staff.

Director of Digital Fundraising and Operations
The Director of Digital Fundraising and Operations will develop and implement a comprehensive digital strategy to engage new and existing donors with the goal of converting prospects and retaining donors. The Director will generate ideas and tools to support and develop growth in digital fundraising, the cultivation of donors and the development of online fundraising campaigns. Manage all web and social network fundraising features and work with internal and external resources to generate content.
The Director Digital Fundraising and Operations is also responsible for maintenance and daily operation of the donor database (Raiser’s Edge NXT) for the organization. These responsibilities include but are not limited to monitoring all policies and procedures to ensure the donor database contains accurate information, creating complex queries for reports to meet management’s requests, creating mailing and prospect lists, importing, and exporting data.
The Director will work collaboratively with the Director of Annual Fund and the Director of Marketing and Communications will implement programming for digital campaigns, recurring donations, retention strategies, and other digital fundraising initiatives as they align with the mission of the organization and strategic plan. The Director of Digital Fundraising and Operations will be responsible for analyzing digital fundraising trends, as well as identifying opportunities to engage donors in effective and innovative direct fundraising strategies.

College & Career Coordinator
Champions For Learning is seeking a College & Career Coordinator to facilitate college access and career readiness for students, parents, and volunteers. Required skills include strong written/verbal communication, ability to facilitate discussions, lead student activities, and navigate web-based learning platforms. Position has a variable schedule that requires late afternoons/evenings and Saturdays.
Bachelor’s degree required with a focus on education or social services preferred. Bilingual preferred.
